RNAbox™ technology

RNAbox™ is a modular, digitally enabled manufacturing platform designed to support flexible, scalable RNA medicine manufacturing.

RNAbox manufacturing workflow with four connected stages and the original monitoring and control panel. — RNAbox conceptual workflow: IVT reactor for RNA synthesis; chromatography for RNA purification; formulation for RNA encapsulation; and filtration for RNA-LNP purification and sterilisation. All four stages connect to in-process monitoring, with real-time analytics for traceability and quality assurance, and Data-informed process control, using soft sensors and digital twins for robust, automated processes.

The technology programme connects synthesis, purification and formulation with increasing levels of monitoring, analytics and model-based process monitoring and control.

The objective is to support the development and manufacturing of RNA vaccines and therapeutics, improving access to RNA technology and enabling consistent candidate production throughout the product development cycle.
